It’s the last day of 2019! This was a very interesting year and I learnt loads!
Goal setting is very important I knew making one for 2020 was important. Apart from a vision board using my 3G Journal to track my goals is a must so you can still send me a DM to order.
I got some inspiration from @fashionistarfabrix to start my board.
What kind of goals should I make you ask? All sorts …
Relationship goals with God, your significant other, your children, your family and your friends. These are very key as once you are in sync with God everything flows as you allow Him direct your path. We all know how important having a strong relationship with your spouse and children are so make it a priority and ensure you put away toxic relationships and nurture positive ones.
Health, fitness and emotional goals to ensure you do your best to take care of your body and soul. Your physical and mental health should not be toyed with.
Career and Self development goals so you can improve yourself and get that dream job or promotion or just excel where you are.
Financial goals as you want to make sure you are exploring all possible streams of income and not struggling to stay afloat.
Flex goals as you cannot kill yourself! You know what they say about all work and no play so ensure you take time out to rest, relax and rejuvenate.
You can make goals in all areas of your life just make sure they are SMART. Specific-Measurable- Attainable-Realistic-Timebased.
Saying “I want to write a book in 2020″ isn’t enough..instead say ” I want to write a chapter weekly and have a draft ready for editing by early March and ready to publish by April .
Another example “I want to be a better parent in 2020” good, but how? “I want to be a more involved and ensure I look through their homework and spend quality time with my children on weekends”. Never done a vision board? get cardboard, old magazines and newspapers and start today. Like @lizspire says to get what you have never gotten do what you have never done!
