One important choice for parents is where their children go to school. Different things inform that choice.
In my late Dads case DMGS was the leading school in the East and as a very bright young man that was where he went! Recently my sister and I went to visit DMGS and it was amazing to see the school in stellar form.

The children looked great and were quite courteous. The staff informed us that the old boys of the school are heavily involved in the school and it was obvious! Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) Onitsha was established in 1925 and is the oldest & first Grammar school in Igbo land and has produced some eminent personalities.
As children of an old boy we have always had an affinity for the school and hopefully we will also contribute our own quota towards the progress of the school. Have you visited your old school or given back in anyway ? How about your parents schools, especially if they are no more ? Like Dengramites will say … Lux fiat!
